These are some pictures of the pretty wild flowers in our backyard that Troy took. We originally had dung out a big square in our backyard to grow vegetables many,many years ago. Lets just say that the ground wasn't a good provider and Shiloh wouldn't keep out of it. We have thrown different sunflower seeds out there before and they grew huge.....last year I bought one of those big cans of wildflower seeds. Planted them and some came up,but nothing like this year. This year new flowers came up that the caterpillars just loved so much that they changed into beautiful butterflies. Lanta wanted to collect all the caterpillars that she could find....I had to limit her to 3 which all turned into very pretty butterflies.

Love your flower & butterfly photos. Your butterfly is a swallowtail, perhaps Spicebush Swallowtail.
The kids are so big! I guess I thought they were still babies, & really only August is barely that.
