Can you believe that it is almost Thanksgiving?! Crazy...time is just slipping by again. But I guess that is just how life goes sometimes right?! School has been going great for both kiddos. Lanta has just taken wings and exploded in the reading and writing world..it's cute. The world is hers to explore or something like that she told me the other day..she will try to read anything and I mean anything..It's super cute if I do say so myself...even August is proud that he can write his letter "A" in his name...he brings me papers all the time with a's all over them and says look it has my name allllll over it....funny guy. Hope your days are full of gingerbread and molasses cookies if not come visit me :)

Those are some cute pics of the kids.
I love this age for our boys right now. Eli is sooooo infatuated with making happy faces with bodies all over papers. He calls them his "friends".
He can write his name and i love that he is excited to do it. I'm sure it's the same excitement that August has...LOOK, my name is there!
My girls are getting the reading thing down. They, too, like to read whatever they can. It's neat to see their little brains working.
Now writing, on the other hand, isn't going as well for them. They try to write and spell things, but it's a bit difficult for them.
I am really starting to see some of the effects of the prematurity now. They struggle alot in school. I can see that there are some concepts they just don't "get".
We are looking into getting some tutoring for them. The help they need is beyond what i can offer as a mama. (sigh) The joys of having super preemies...
It is fun to watch the kiddos discover learning! Can't wait until my girls start reading :)
