Still here..

Well to say that life has been crazy lately seems to be a nice way to put things....the kids USUALLY don't get sick and lets just say that August had an ear infection last week followed by Lanta's strep throat? I know the folks who are usual not sick spent two days at the doctors office...they were surprised to see me twice in one week!!
I can't believe that we only have less than one more month of school left of school for Lanta left then it's SUMMER..it's yeah and oh no for Mama! But they both get to take swimming lessons this Summer so that will be nice for me and August since last year he was too young and had to watch and we all know how much he enjoyed "watching". I can't believe that Lanta is almost over with first grade too?! I mean really this year had flown by I don't know if it was because I was sub-ing so much at the first of the year at KU that made it pass so fast then getting hired on full time that made it seem to pass by so fast to me but wow the last two months really what happened?! We have had some out-of-town visitors too..the kids always love when people come to visit! Finally got some issues resolved with some family members after many months of not speaking..it feels much better to actually be talking again. Silence is such a sad place to be.
I have alot of pictures for you guys of some family adventures we've been on lately just need to get then in here....and some Cowboy day pictures from KU. August has been wearing his cowboy boots(red ones we borrowed from Gena) with EVERYTHING and yes that means shorts!! He even wore them to Wal-mart with shorts and when I tried to tell him hey that's not really how it's supposed to go...I got the hey it's my "choice" thing from him so I was like ok...people just smile so go figure!!
